Learning Factories – Bridging the Gap Between Academia and Industry

Following the success of the COSIMENA & Ezz Steel Workshop, organised in JanuaryFebruary 2024, the DAAD Regional Office Cairo invites you to participate in an online public lecture entitled “Learning Factories – Bridging the Gap Between Academia and Industry”. The public lecture is organised within the framework of the DAAD project “Clusters of Scientific Innovation in the Middle East and North Africa” (COSIMENA).

Time: from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (Cairo Local Time)

Location: Online Event on Webex

The public lecture aims to shed light on the following perspectives:

  • Explore foundational principles of the concept of learning factories
  • Learn about the role of learning factories in cultivating a skilled workforce
  • Explore different approaches to bridge the gap between theoretical and practical knowledge
  • Provide valuable takeaways to enhance workforce development for educators, industry leaders, and policymakers

University Professors and Practitioners from the Industry and the general public!

***Attendees of the COSIMENA & Ezz Steel Workshop “the Gap between Gap between Theoretical Education at Egyptian Universities and the Practical Needs of the Labour Market: A Search for Solutions” are prioritised for attendance!
