German Science Day/Week

COSIMENA

More than 300 participants took part in the sixth German Science Day that was this time organised by COSIMENA in July 2017. One day long the PhD Candidates and Postdocs had the opportunity to engage with the German research landscape and to get meaningful insights and a first feedback for their planned research in Germany.

German Science Night

COSIMENA

Since 2017 COSIMENA has been offering the German Science Night annually during Ramadan. This event is inspired by the German initiative “Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften” (long night of sciences) where universities and other research institutions simplify and share scientific ideas with the public in an engaging and entertaining manner.

The first “COSIMENA Summer School” took place in September 2017 under the title “Training for Innovation – How science and technology can contribute to a better life for all”. 30 young researchers and experts from 10 different countries among the MENA Region and Germany were welcomed to participate in the two weeks summer school.
