COSIMENA’s first Urbanism Kick-Off event took place at the first international conference “Towards a Better Quality of Life” in November. The three-day event provided a platform to discuss the broad aspects of sustainable urban development and by setting up a first thematic framework for the cluster.

On Wednesday, May 25th, 2022, the DAAD Regional Office Cairo held on its premises a Public Lecture titled “In-between Cities” in the framework of its project “Clusters of Scientific Innovation in the Middle East and North Africa” (COSIMENA).

Urbanism Cluster Kick-Off Event - First International Conference: Towards a Better Quality of Life

From 25–26 November 2017, the first international conference “Towards a Better Quality of Life” took place in El Gouna. The DAAD Office Cairo used this unique occasion to launch the COSIMENA Urbanism Cluster.
