To further strengthen the national and international networks in Egypt and in the MENA region, the DAAD Cairo Office organises German language studies conferences on a regular basis. Moreover, special didactics seminars are offered to young German language lecturers working in the academic education.

Conferences of German Studies

The DAAD Regional Office Cairo hosted the alMena ٣ Conference on German Studies from 10th to 12th of July 2019. 30 presentations, workshops and panel discussions created the basis for constructive debates on the main topic of the Conference: the Arabic German language contact as an integral part of all German Study Programmes in the MENA Region.
